None man. People in LA skate mostly. From what I know, LA scene is nonexistant.

Btw, where in LA are you from man? I'm from New Orleans, but I live up in Washington now.

I own SR.
I was in New Orleans, Lafayette and New Iberia all last week visiting family after the Edison comp.

As far as I know there isn't much of a scene out there but if you can get some locals riding and find a good park willing to hold an event I will sponsor it.

Oh I see. You'll probably have a better chance of organizing a scene/comp out there, because its not as rough as New Orleans/The Westbank(Gretna, Terrytown, etc)

Edit: I just thought, if you could actually get a comp started there, and SR sponsored it, I would totally come down to visit friends and ride and just enjoy being back home for awhile. That would be dope as fuckkk

Ok so Jamie, do you know of any good indoor or outdoor parks that would be willing to hold a comp? And if we do outdoor, the comp HAS to be in the fall, because Louisiana heat kills in the summer.

I know of one indoor park, Fast Lanes, in Harvey, that you could look into maybe. Only problem for you Jamie is that Harvey is by New Orleans, on the Westbank, near Gretna and Terrytown and Marrero and such. So thats like an hour drive from you.

If you are thinking of that Buck Nuttys off the I-10 that place is a pile but there is another nice indoor one around there but they don't allow scooters but I met a few skaters there who went and rode with me in Hammond at that outdoor dreamland park.

So I could not find ANY pics of Fast Lanes skaterpark in Harvey, but I did find a video on youtube of some skaters riding it. It shows alot of the minipipe with vertwall, the euro, a bit of the street section, and if my memory serves me correctly from when I went there a few times when I lived in New Orleans, it has a flybox with a big bank for speed. Pretty dope. Its indoors, doesnt have AC but they have a shitload of fans haha. Its in a pretty rough neighborhood though.
