i get what you're saying, and i somewhat agree with you, but i don't think you can only love someone if youre willing to spend the rest of your life with them.

i really didn't want to get into any of my personal experiences in this thread, but i will say that i've loved a girl who i knew i couldn't spend the rest of my life with. hell, i couldn't spend a month seeing the girl every day. that doesn't take away from the fact that i still loved her then, and to an extent love her now, though.
