Any precision machine oil. Pro Long makes a good product, we all got samples of it at the Las Vegas demo. It is nice because it comes in a pen shaped squeeze bottle with a needle applicator kind of like model glue so you can put it exactly where it needs to go and not all over everything. Anything else would work to, gun oil, sewing machine oil, etc. Just as long as it is precision machine oil and not vegetable oil you should be fine.
do you guys know if i can buy like oil for compressor nail guns or w/e in a squeeze bottle or something in lik a 2 fl. oz. bottle at home depot or something i haven't really checked anywhere because my dad had some for his compressed air nail gun and but he only had a little left and would let me use that
and is that considered precision machine oil?
you can get it at any local hardware store. i work at a hardware store, and you can usualy find those kinds of nail gun lubs in the tool department. just ask them and they will get it for you.
little randon fact: i work at Mclendon hardware witch is a local hardware store that only has 6 stores in the puget sound area, and they are known for there amazing customer service. they made $70 million last year with a 2 percent increse. goes to show how many people are starting to do "do it your self" projects. home depot and lowell home imporvment store that are massive, dont have that many small, specilized products for indiviual needs, best to go to small local hardware stores for the best help. if you live near woodinville, you can come and see me work, and i will help you with what ever you need
I use Singer sewing machine oil or when i can be bothered cleaning them out vigerously with citrus solvent, i use Graphite Powder. Its the Fastest but it needs re-applying more often then oil.
well i ushally but good bearings at the local skate shop but mean while i have all my other bearings head set and wheel bearing sittin in car oil i guess it woks i never tryed them yet they been sittin in oil for so long now
