Lucky prime headtube headset removal problem!

I used a curved tire iron from my dirt bike days to get a grip on it from the inside and knock it out

If you don't want the headset anymore. Get two husky men, put the cup in a vise with something in it so it doesn't collapse. Get the husky men to turn it around and twist out the cups.
You could probably do it without husky men, but that's a funnier word.

Edit: damn you noah. Post right before I do!

Take a flathead screwdriver and hit the cups on the outside where they go into the headtube

Shouldn´t damage the cups aside from looks

Its not that easy with the evo.... the inner headtube is re recessed where the cup go in. Tree was only like 1/4 inch of space...bad idea

1. if you have a rubber mallet just pound them on the outside
2. if you dont have a rubber mallet
get an old tire and cut a strip of it and then wrap it around the flathead screwdriver and then hit the screwdriver on the outside of the cups and since the tire is on the tip of the screwdriver it wont damage the cups

there ya go

wd 40 and hit it. or if you have a heat source, use that to expand the metal a bit and hammer it out from there. but be sure you hit it as evenly as possible. like hit ont side 4 times then hit the other and what not. u shud know that
