edit: oh Ubuntu on my ps3 right now, switching to yellowdog once i get an hdtv

ubuntu doesn't let me get internet. i tried it on two of my laptops and two of my computers...

Need to setup drivers... usually it works with most wired cards, wireless is a bitch to setup. I had to setup a wireless card on my laptop and it took forever. It runs so much better than windows though, but you need to learn alot of stuff. If you plan on doing photo/video stuff, don't waste your time with linux.

ok thanks. i only plan on using that laptop as a temporary picture storage drive, considering it only has a 20gig hdd
and internet is basically joke on that, the wireless gets 11mbps haha
and not to mention that the battery doesn't hold a charge for 30 seconds.
so ubuntu might tickle my fancies...
i'll try it tonight.

My Mac has Never crashed.
I had a PC for like a month.
