Madd Gear Scooters

It is the "signature series".

They are NOT the nitro. They are a mid range product by MaddGear (MGP being bottom of the range, and Nitro being top of the range).
They made it for people who dont want to spend as much as the nitro is, but want a better scooter then the normal MGP. Basically it is a Upgraded version of the normal MGP, where as the Nitro is a full different scooter, including;

Metal Cores
Threadless forks
Chromoly one-piece bars
whole different deck (including being forged in places)
ect etc and more!

So here are the details:

Bottom of the range scooter:
MGP
Details:
You guys already know :p

Mid Range:
MGP Sig Series
Details;
Pretty much, just a upgraded MGP.
One piece bars (not as good as the Nitros).
'Spoked" MaddGear Metal core wheels
Thats all we know ATM, but Mike will let us know more as it gets closer to the release date, im sure

Top of the range:
MGP Nitro
Details:
Threadless forks
Full MaddGear metal cores
Full heat treated Chromoly one piece bars
forged parts (instead of welding - Stronger)
reo'd brake
Thats all we know ATM, but Mike will let us know more as it gets closer to the release date, im sure

Hope that helps and clears things up

I hate MGP, the only reason im getting one is because im breaking pros (who isnt) and its the only thing i can afford.
Im not gonna use any parts from it, just the deck.

I didnt like the look of MGP's when i first saw them (dont know why)

But i actually really like the look of them... I reckon its sweet...

IMO, on the normal MGP, wheels are ok for front.
forks are good, unless you are really good and are doing fairly big jumps and tricks, then u could have trouble...
Headset is good
The bars they are now coming with are awesome (not quite as good as 1 pieces though IMO)
bearings are good, but dont compare to my ceramics :)
the new reo'd brake is awesome
And the deck is "DA BOMB :D"
Ohh, and grips are good too...

Basically the whole thing is awesome, except for wheels (you would change them anyway)...

I cant wait to see what the nitro will be like :D!

Cheers ;)

the bars and deck are really good
the brakes are apparently crap but mine never broke
wheels suck
headsets good and the rest is good
