It's official. I am going.
July 4th to July 15th.
I got my visa on 31st May and tickets are bought.

See you guys at XW and Brooklyn Banks jam :)

- 07/04 arriving in NYC
- 07/11 going to Buffalo
- 07/12 XW comp
- 07/13 going to NYC
- 07/14 Brooklyn Banks Jam
- 07/15 leaving NYC to Estonia

Hey-hey,

I am NOT entirely sure yet if i'm coming this year, but i surely don't wanna miss this before i get too old to ride scooters, haha. I have a very difficult family life, plus my parents don't support the idea of scootering so it's a pretty rough situation here. I will be talking to my parents about this NY&XW trip when all my school stuff is done which will happen on monday the 26th when my very last exam takes place.

To my dream plan, this is how my trip would be like:

- I would be flying to NYC on Friday 4th or Thursday 10th July;
- i'd stay in NY for a few days, get used to the new timezone and check the town out;
- driving to Buffalo in Buff's van on Friday 11th;
- XW comp on Saturday 12th;
- driving to NY in Buff's van again on Sunday 13th;
- BBJam on monday
- hang out in NY
- fly back on Thursday 17th or Sunday 20th.

I've been talking to Andrew and he said that if i would come, then i would be able to ride in his van NYC>Buffalo>NYC, i hope the others who were planned into the van don't mind me joining? :)

Also, i'm looking for free accomodation.
I would be able to bring my own sleeping bag and also my own air matress if needed.
So if you are sure that you could hook me up, let me know in this thread so i could make my plans early so it would sound more legit when i'm popping my ideas up for my parents.

Also, if there's enough time left over and some decent transport,
i'd visit TIC too, but that's more like a seconday extra plan.

I'm looking forward for some replies, ideas, suggestions :)

As gas prices are getting up pretty fast, any later trips like SD3 will be a lot more expensive, plus i would have to take another flight from east coast to west coast, so it all means more $$$.

for SD, i doubt. I know that i would have to change planes either in Detroit, NYC or in Chicago for SD trip.

none until further notice haha. i need to see if someone else can drive here, there is room to stay, but my house is an hour and 15 minutes driving from xw/airport/buffalo in general... so i can only for sure have people who fit in my car.

get at reeves and tell him to take a few days off work and drive.

Where is Alex Schadd he needs to get in here and post if he comes on here anymore cause I'm pretty sure that's where we are staying in Buffalo. You might be able to get ahold of him on myspace.

Buff, since i would be riding in your van, i'd stay at the same house or nearby to avoid moving my stuff too much, so i hope you don't mind if i tag along. I'll try to contact Schad tomorrow.

Talked to my mom today, she's pretty much OK with the idea, even though it's far away like she said. The only break point is my dad since i haven't told him anything yet and he probably doesn't like the idea of me travelling alone and the fact that it's related to scooters - i hope he gets over some day. My mom thought i should concetrate on getting a visa before getting tickets, which was something i almost had forgot. So after the exam i'm going to find out on tuesday what am i supposed to do to get a visa from the US embassy in Tallinn.

What time does your flight leave on the 15? I might just fly out then instead of the 16 to make it easier getting to the airport.

My flight leaves at 17:45 (5:45pm) on 15th. How's that?
