RAD bars v.2 (18" tall, 18" wide - that's how it looks with these measurements)
Custom clamp
A random headset i drew
Custom neck
Custom fork
Custom deck and foldy substituent.

Bars - well actually my dream scoot wouldn't have RAD bars, it would have something else
that i'm hoping to get in autumn or winter, but i was told to keep any further information about
them classified. So here's the scooter with the RAD bars v.2.

Custom clamp - double bolts on both sides, matches with the slots in RAD bars.

Headset - if i would have this scooter, i would either have a FSA or some internals,
if i would build the neck for internal headsets.

Neck - it's a little wider than Razor's, but all measurements (neck, deck and foldy)
may vary due to getting the material.

Fork - now that concept is an idea which is gonna come true in this Summer.
Fork-plate + reinforcements + threadless forktube from a BMX fork (i'm getting a GT fork from
my friend). Fork is wider than Razors, it mounts two bearings, one spacer (between bearings)
and two more same spacers around the wheel. Fork has room for 110mm wheels too.

Deck and foldy substituent - thick deck plate + 2 rectangular pipes + 2 shorter rectangular pipes for foldy.
Deck is a little wider (10mm/~0,5inches) than Razor's on the sketch. On the last picture you can see i'm trying to
keep the deck clean from bolts underneath, because if there would be any bolts, they may disturb slides. I haven't
calculated out how heavy would be the deck with these measurements i have there, if it would be steel/stainless
steel. I think there would be an extra bolt in the middle of the deck, maybe not, i'll see. And yeah, i forgot to add
brake pin holes.

Wheels and brake? - They will not be custom.

I think/hope this dream will come true eventually. It has an easier construction. Fork will be ready this summer,
deck and neck maybe in winter or next summer or never at all, and for last - i have no idea how would i get ready that clamp.

It's a dream that i've planned and drawn in 3 nights.

EDIT: i saw my first little mistake: foldy bolts should be reversed, from top to bottom, not from bottom to top,
because i can't enter any bolts underneath.

Yew....Realy nice..just a bit square for me..And my dream would be welded mech..Bit all ins good..Killer design Madis! 8)

Holy shit man these design r sik as i cant emagine wat itl look lik in real life sikkie. I dont lik the looks of the deck but its something new but i lik the looks of the clamp and the forks there sik

Looks like it would be heavier than the one Im riding now, this C shaped profile that goes around the pipes looks like damn thick. That clamp looks wicked, haha. How long is that deck?

That deck is 475mm long (like old-A and new-A models)* - it seems shorter because the deck is wider and the fork is longer.

EDIT: i might reduce that C-shaped plate from 5mm to 2 (or max 3), saves weight, but with still durability in mind.

EDIT 2: i just measured out the bolts... well the diameter was right, but the nuts and washers were wrong size. And i found out some pipes i could get, but they are square. I have to redesign all the deck again with all new measurements. So i'll post up a new deck hopefully tomorrow with some fixes.

EDIT 3: * Pro-models are 500mm.

5 mm of thickness? that's definately too thick, according to my calculations just that piece would weigh like 2,5 kilos if its 5mm, another thing is that I dont think that anyone sells such profiles (even if you ment to cut a rectangular pipe). And you live in the capital city of a european country, Im sure that they are so many steel warehouses around so you can get proper rectangular pipes.

loooks cool cept the deck is way to short
as he said it's ment to be and a model size and its just a personal preferrence, I like big decks and mine is 55cm (22' I think)

The folding system (i mean the part of the scooter)is exactly the same as my reinforced B deck. The vertical bolts are fixed into the reinforcement bars + the foldy weird things on the B model... It's the perfect idea, even if it's not designed exactly the same as a reinforced B
Well, the Micro bullet + reinforcement is almost the same. But you have to put a weird little metal band to fix your folding part. Then, i thinks it's working, except if the deck bends.

yeah, you're def right, Pete, 5mm is too heavy. The C-profiled plate ALONE is 2,7kg, if it is steel. Then comes the pipes and foldy and the deck would be just below 5,5kg. And i haven't added the neck, fork and bars to it, so the whole scooter would be 7,5-8,5kg.

New measurements. I found a company from the internet that has or produces or whatever it does and they have steel and aluminium (and many more), and on the site they had pointed out links to square pipes and C-profiled pieces (they mentioned on the site that they would make those C-profiled pieces as the customer likes. So i sent an e-mail to them with these pics and i'm hoping to get some positive answers from them soon.

As like the thread is, the first sketches were dreams. But i'm getting close to reality maybe.

New deck:
100mm wide - like regular Razors; previous design was 110mm
500mm long - like pro-model's; previous design was 475mm
30mm wide and 3mm thick pipes - square, because i'm not sure if they have rectangular pipes.
2mm thick plate

And with all its cuts and without holes, this deck it weighs:
1,432 kg if aluminium
4,137 kg if steel

You would need to have welds and bolts connected to the neck... 2 bolts is NOT strong enough. I never post in these threads with all these scooter designs i pretty much just watch your creativity from afar.... But you guys are really re-inventing stuff and now we just need to work some flaws out of the designs. Keep doing it and good job!

Umm if you have found some weird company that produces custom profiles get ready either to pay much money for those or to recieve a reply that they would only make it for you if you were up to make huge amounts of scooters.

exactly my reinforced B model (except the shape of the parts to fix the foldy mech... on mine they're just the B original part which has a weird shape, i'm talking about the two parts in which you put the axels to make your scoot unfoldable.
Well i already realized my dream scooter, it has lasted me 9 months of intense riding and i did a even better one with an independant brake (not fixed with an horizontal axel as on every A or B or micro models , it's fixed vertically, so no stupid holes drilled into the deck and so much stronger then! )
