ok well their is a increase in riders and stuff but i doubt that scootering is big enough because no one really pays attention 2 scootering except for scooterers and u cant jus hav a bunch of kids put together a magazine it takes people who r like profesional nd get paid because i know just about everyone on sr will buy a magazine but everyone who says their gonna help wont except for a few because their going 2 realize its a lot harder than u think and its just gonna b like 1 or 2 magazines a month i dont think its n e where near big enough for a real magazine and its gonna b kinda hard 2 put together a magazine with a bunch of people who dont even live in the same state or country

It isn't hard at all to get together as long as everyone gets their material in on the deadline. We don't need any professionals, you obviously don't know what some of us on here are capable off (and making a magazine template in photoshop isn't hard if you have some experience). Printing it is the only problem we could run into

if your going to be doing template it would be better to use indesign..seeing as in how thats basically what its made for. And you can do all your photo work in photoshop and import them into indesign and its just alot easier to mess with all the text in indesign.

It doesn't have to be a real mag yet does it? I say make a site or maybe like email newsletters first, then when the sport is bigger take it to print. Is anyone willing to find a printer and pay for mags to be printed? we need someone who will definetly do that. I think they could come out like after each SD, TIC, and XW comp, and all the other comps between them will still be covered. That would give people enough time to come up with content so that it wouldn't be 5 pages of nothing.

that makes sense. if i had any money id help print but i dont :( so yea we need 2 start a list of ppl who will help so should i make a list?

kay whos in ill start a list just post ur name.... as long as ull actually do it and rnt just posting for the hell of it

Never worked with it before, i'll have to check it out.

And printing isn't too easy because when i was looking before when we were getting a mag togeather you had to get x amount of minimum mags printed and it was expensive everywhere i looked...

not if hes already familiar with photoshop and vector layouts.

I say we do go ahead and assign NEW positions.....i would interview Matt Andrus, as he's a Midwest Rider...

I would also like to do some drawings or an advertisement for the Midwest Crew...sound good to anyone??Id like to do adds for teams.

ha i wanted to interview Andrus lol. Sounds good about the MWK ad. as soon as this thread hits 4 pages i think i'll make another thread about who does what.
