Magray v2 problem

I've got a rup v1, and I snapped three different brakes so I went for this one. I had an 81 customs flex fender before, which is pretty similar and was nice and dialled but I snapped it. So I tried this and cannot get it dialled - it makes a horrible cracking noise every time I land, which I just the metal on metal in the deck. How can I stop this or is it because my deck is v1?

wrap it in electric tape and put it back in, nice and tight.

any tape, i wouldnt recomend masking taPE though, cus it'll go mouldy.

cut a piece of bike tube, and put i between your deck and brake.

If you have any old broken grips or anything use that. I used an ultra pro grip, cut up.

I bought it like 2 years ago, but cause I only ride flat and basic street its never broken. And it's light as fuck so I want to keep this ages then get an addict.
