making treaded threadless

alright so i saw this in the homemade parts, he used JB weld to fill in the threads. would this actually work and hold up because if it does i can save like 70 bucks that i dont have on a new fork

Yes it works but its pointless don't go threadless to go threadless go threadless because you need the strength so yes it works but it's point less

alrite but like would it hold up and last and be compatible with like scs and hic

you can use threaded with scs and hic, its pointless though
you dont get a threadless fork just to go threadless, its so you dont have any threads which makes your fork stronger

ok i probably wont do it ill just probably end up getting a threadless headset but use a locknut
