I train about 5 hours a day 4 days a week. Muay Thai on mondays and tuesdays, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on Wednesday and Thursday. My trainers beat the shiit out of me every chance they get, and i always come back for more training. always loved fighting, and one day, i will fight as a pro MMA fighter.

This passion of mine, is one of the main things that conflicts with my riding in the past 6 months. My Sensei(Teacher) told me if i was to injure myself on my "skateboard thing" that i would be wasting my time, his time, the gyms time, and my opponents time.

and Jake, Judo is awesome. Soo many good throws and takedowns can be learned from Judo. One of the guys i spar with, is a Muay Thai fighter, but he took about 3 years in Judo, and were sparring and i tagged him with a right cross, and he recovered so fast, and threw my ass to the floor so quick..it was gnarly.

I took kung fu for a year and half. got halfway to black belt. it was so much fun and my teacher had met bruce lee and learned from one of bruces original 5 students. he didnt teach anything that wouldnt be useful in a street fight. so it was sweet.

I used to do Judo, my uncle used to train me and all the other people at his club until he moved. Then i went to one nearer but the trainer was rubbish so every session would be the same as before because new people kept coming so it got boring and i quit. Havnt done it in a few years now but it was fun while it lasted.

The name is Margaret
my dads a guru in Pananandata which is the Filipino Martial art.

he learned from master mat marinas whos like a legend in that world.
my dad was in a lot of books that he wrote like the bad guy to show moves an d stuff.

i guess my dads been doing it for 30 years now and teaches every week.

my dads wife is a tai chi.. i dunno what theyre called in china, i dont think its guru. but anyway she learned from some top master guy too.

theyre both pretty scary with it, and like his wife is really tiny and she can take down really big guys ive seen it.

my dad mixes a lot of his stuff with other arts because some moves are more efficient than others and what not.

i never got into it although i did stick fighting for a few years as a kid and i learned some about butterfly knives.

Once I took a Karate class, it was awesome. And by awesome I mean I don't remember much at all, all I know is there was a hella big mirror.

Ive been interested for the past 4 years. Started getting serious in the past year, and have been training since January.

yea everyone tries to learn Muay Thai, and Bjj mainly because. If you were to get into MMA, by learning Muay Thai, you can learn striking with knees, kicks, elbows. As opposed to if you did boxing, you would only get really good hands. Most learn some boxing after anyways. And BJJ, most learn before Wrestling, because in MMA, a wrestler can take you down, but if you got strong BJJ, once he gets you down, youll be able to get a rear naked, or lock an arm, leg, or ankle pretty quick. Ill be doing Muay Thai and BJJ for another 2-3 years.

i'd love to learn bjj, since im not the tallest man around hah. i want to stick with judo for awhile but im moving states at the end of this year so ill have to try and find a new teacher up there, which will be hard cause its a mining town. hopefully i will find something. but i'd love to spend a few years on judo, kick boxing and bjj.

have you being in any comps ect steven?

No competitions really. My friends dad used to be an MMA fighter, and in his gym, he holds amateur fights. Ive fought and won my last 3 fights. Eventually i want to stop fighting in the gym, and slowly work my way up as an amateur fighter. And if i catch the right persons eye, maybe get invited to train with a local team around here. Where i can be provided with equipment, and possibilities to better myself as a fighter.
