Most of you have probably guessed that I don't ride anymore, for the last couple of years the only time I've really been riding has been at Montreux and with Matt and Terry in August. ThereÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¾Ã?â??Ã?¢s no real reason for this, just didn't ever feel like riding, and when I did I wasn't having fun.

I have been riding for a long time now, there aren't many people left here that were around when I started. I don't really feel like I ever reached my full potential, but I have a lot of good memories from riding, I've met a lot cool people and made a lot of friends, I've traveled, made myself some money and had fun doing it all.

I'm not saying I will never ride again, if I feel like riding I will, but I won't ever be riding full time again.

This is a video I edited yesterday. Its made up mostly of clips that didn't make it in my mini video or my clip video. The first clips are from April 2003 and the video finishes with what I've filmed in '07:

ahhh thats soo crazy

It stinks to hear that you are stopping, but that is your choice. you are a great rider.
You still are one of my favorite riders of all time.

I remember some random person came up to me at a party asking about some one named martin kimbell. I was like I know who that is. So your greatness has spread very well.

7:44 is crazy

05:11 should have landed in noseblunt!

05:33 that was pretty high kimbell!

well, wow. it's been great riding with you, at least you've got graham to take over your legacy :) if you ever feel like riding, you've got my number man, hope you've had a great time, you have made such a huge impact on scooter riding and have been there from the start, so it's always sad to see an OG stop riding, have a great time with whatever you do in the future

truck and 360 downside whip the box at the end was priceless... I will see you one day

What andy said to, one of my biggest influences, you make me wanna do whips more. You make them look so sick.

Are you serious farmboy, graham isnt as amazing as martin? lol
This video was really good, and youve done alot for the sport.
I enjoyed the vid but it makes you sad thinking that someone whos done the most and enjoyed it the most has quit, from the progression from when you were like 12 until like 18 and now its all over
Youve brought scooters a long way
:)
Good luck with photography (FTW!)

Pretty small group here, that have known Martin since his Kickboarder site. Know how big of a loss this is to the sport. I know that my first clips to ever be posted online, were on his site over 4 years ago...i believe its the same for Andrus. To see Martin come from posting clips of his Flat Tailwhips.. To this video. Has been Nothing short of amazing. Its been a pleasure knowing you, and seeing you ride a scooter like only you could. Take care, and try not to be a stranger on SR. Later Bro.

To be honest, I am depressed with the fact that Martin quits... Seriously, his minivideo 1 was the first scooter video I had ever seen and that made a great influence on me for sure.
Super stylish. Extremely techy. Very unique and original. But now it's all only on youtube and vimeo...
Come on, Martin! Come back any time. People will always be glad to see you again here ;)
