Generally, most people I know don't think that america is better than everybody else, but I live in a small town. I think it was good that we invaded Iraq even if it was for the wrong reasons. Saddam Hussein was a ruthless dictator and needed to be stopped. The main idea is people dieing is bad, and being nice is good. now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

You are either proud to be American or you can get the fuck out. Open your eyes and you'd see this country offers more freedom to it's citizens than any other country in the world. The only reason you are complaining is because Americans are spoiled and take these freedoms for granted when in reality we still have it better than anyone else.
As for America being the best country in the world... well it just is, sorry. You don't become THE world superpower in 300 years by accident.
As for us sending troops into the middle east (whether it was a good decision or not) when there are leaders of terrorists states saying the world would be a better place without America and the Jews while they have acknowledged having a program to develop nuclear arms that is reason enough for me to send in forces. We have nukes to maintain peace they want them to create chaos... BIG DIFFERENCE.
Also, Saddam was a nut case who tested biological weapons on the Kurds killing hundreds of thousands of his own people... we should have put a bullet in his head the second we found him.

You've been in office for basically a year and terrorists fly right into your trade center, and your most important government building. You have to do something. So we go to war with the Taliban. Then you get information (perhaps faulty) that theres weapons of mass destruction. Again, you have to do something or people will get mad and crap. Yeah, a lot of people have died, but they did it protection our and other people's freedom.
