He stopped riding a while ago. I don't even know if he BMXs anymore. On his myspace it says he's getting married soon so I doubt he'll ride again. But I just wanted to make a thread on this just to see if anybody else wanted him to ride again, he's my favorite rider to watch. Mabye we can somehow get him to ride again haha. SOMEHOW... and apparently Cary's riding again so thats good

... getting married isnt a reason to quit riding. it a possible reason to stop for a while in order to plan out everything for a wedding or something, but not to quit completely.

insurance?

Unless you are making money off scootering you cannot afford to ride anymore once you get a REAL life out from underneath your parents wings. If you get hurt then you can't work and if you can't work then you can't pay your bills then your whole life comes crumbling down which is not worth riding scooters. I guess if you are low maintanence and not very ambitious you could afford to keep riding but I guarantee after an injury takes you out for a few months you will second guess your life strategy.

being realistic, he's not gonna have a kid RIGHT after he gets married. and im pretty sure he had to pay for a car, insurance, food, and he had a job prior to getting engaged/while he still was riding. therefore, the only real issue would be a house and his wife. so i dont see why it would be a reason to quit riding completely. slow down yes, quit completely, no.

I bet you he will ride again...... it would suck way too bad to have another Silas Henderson on our hands....
I have faith...Remember that Limp Bizkit song.....You gotta have faith....cuz if he reads this and everyones saying stuff like SD is saying then, hes prolly not gonna wanna ride.....more people need to be positive about situations like this....I believe Matt will keep on riding....

Skootering is not temporary, its not a joke....Not something that is here one second and gone the next...SKootering is a lifestyle...It's what floats ALL of OUR BOATS...that's why we are all here...he may be out for a while...cuz things like these happen..it has nothing to do with dedication to it...just sometimes you can't always get your way....im sure, if he had someone to ride with, he would tear it up once more...so MEN...WISCOINSIN MEN and MEN-o-THEmIDWEST.......we can't just sit around and watch a leged fall...let's get out there and get MattA. back on the KickBoard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PEACE!

People grow up and in the process people change. That is all there is too it. People change the most from 20-25 years old and none of you practically are there yet. Wait until life hits you and you will see it's not just that easy. I'm not saying he won't still find time to ride but without making a living off it he cannot afford to ride as much as he used to ever again.

Alot of you guys dont really understand that when you get married things change and time is no longer always on your side haha.

Matt was a great rider though and we all know that scootering wont leave him, whether he rides again or not.
