the gregorian calender has nothing to do with the mayan calender. the gregorian calender was introduced in the late 1500s by pope gregory. the mayan calender was made like 4000 years earlier.

we should have the day at the end of the year not in february.

or have it at the end of the year so christmas break is a day longer on leap years..

plus it makes no sense putting it in between the 2nd and 3rd month of the year.

not my best collection of posts huh?.. but anyways i dont see why leap day shouldnt exist. if it takes an extra 6 hours every year than it would make sense to compensate with an extra day

6x4=24.
There needs to be leap year or we're not being correct with the counting of days it takes for us to pass around the sun.

well the earth probably doesnt take exactly 365 and 6 hours. so we are probably off a few minutes or so which means that over time our calender is becoming offset with the way the world actually is.
