I Agree with the look the only thing i dont like indeed the headtube

but they are nice decks to ride, most aussies say the headtube is nice as to do tricks with, including footjams, hang 5's & nose manuals so on, also the decks the best ever to whip, its like the old maddgear scooters like old razor A models they just are so easy to whip around so on

indeed another factor ill add is they yeah dont look good in images in my own personal opion but when u see a rider using one they aint that bad, the fact is would u really not ride a scooter cause it looks different to others on the market making it weird or sum thing when the fact is there a very strong deck so why honestly care bout looks.

Well most people wont buy something, that they have never seen in person and dont know much about, if it doesnt appeal to them. I think its great that they have an original design but personaly I dont like the way it looks.
If i ever see one in person ill ride it and maybe it will change my mind.

I dont get the big deal. They're just MGP's anodized in 3 new colors. Nothing Special. Phoenix has % new Colors of their decks. Nothing is really impressive in that scooter in my eyes. All I see is some ugly ass heatube that looked like it was imporperly made in the production line.

it has a new fork probably metal core wheels and a threadless headset

well i'v loved them from the start and i'm even more jealous. I can't believe people are bitching about how it looks. I wouldn't give a fuck if my scooter had the color scheme of a gay pride parade as long as it's indestructible like the nitro. And the fork is aluminum right, because it is anodized?!!?

i agree with you, also the other comment from diff user who said they would like ride one if they see it cause indeed your opion on the product changers after you ride one of these beast

bout the fork, i dont know if its aluminum or steel u would have ask billie or madd them self or maybe wait for the final released images & specs from madd

its very possible its steel, just coated or zinc plated, all razor & other forks like stock models are zinc plated silver, u can actualy polish it off & the forks look better, but they rust there coated to prevent rust as its the main steel part of any scooter on the normal kiddy market

I'm confident that they are aluminum because i'm pretty sure that's the only metal that can be a anodized, where steel can't be. razor forks they were only chrome-plated which CAN be done to steel. Or another explanation is that madgear paid about $15 a fork to get them gold-plated to match the anodized deck, but probably not. AND the forks are forged which is fucking awesome! AND billie is talking about a forged deck, which might be a little overkill(but isn't that what we all strive for?). That is something i've only dreamed about ever since Quebec did it with their fork, the only drawn back is that aluminum when poured doesn't do so well with nooks and krannys but it CAN be done. Just think about when forged decks are made, we can show up bikers because it is too impractical to do with a bike frame. Maddgear, major props for everything, you are too awesome.

yeah i didnt say anodized indeed u can only anodize aluminum, i said coated with sum thing like zinc/chromo coat it dont have be silver dude u can get it done in a range of colours

& really 15 bucks to coat it isnt what they would pay in china, i can get alu forks anodized in australia or electronplated meaning chrome for less then 15aud each, in china it possible adds what 0.05cents in usd to do this maybe max cost like .40cents

the hole MGP scooter would only be costing a little above 15usd to make each & there got zinc plated forks & anodized deck, plus a polish on top that

to the Canada dude, hoesntly if you were in australia & you can get a ultra for 250aud cause thats what price they are in our country, or choose 2 MGP scooters & still have around 50bucks out of the 250 to spend at the shops when u ride, or even get a eagle metal core, i doubt you would get a ultra if you lived in australian when u could have got 2 scooters & a spare of each part for when your first one breaks

2 MGP scooters will last longer then a ultra, my ultra was fked in one afternoon, again with a MGP your warranty might be ok, when with razor they dont give a fk if u broke the ultra headtube in one day, if you got a MGP broke it one afternoon i dare say madd will issue you a new deck, on that fact the forged decks none have broken as yet so id say there going ok

Back to Nitro's as this is what the threads about, towards ash's comments yeah im not 100% sure if there CNC made, im sure there forged as this is what the team madd gear have said, aagain i dont think there aluminum

Thats a silly reason not to buy a scooter.

I wish they weren't ridiciously colored. It's seriously pretty gay.

I think it's pretty ridiculously not to buy a scooter because of the colour?? My reason is because of the specs? You just have to small feet to use 4.5. Well, I got bigger feet, so I prefer 4.5. What's the problem?
