micro reinforcemet questions

so i have a micro deck coming, i know i need to put resin in the foldy which i already have, but im think about dome different reinforcement ideas
what are the deminsions for angle reinforcemets that would work as grind plates aswell, i know box is 1 inch but with angle i think it need to be bigger because they measure the oustide wall not the inside
would angle fit, is the bottom part of a micro atleast 2 inches wide, im sure it would have to be or else the angle reinforements would touch each other
i might use angle reinforcements the way nick darger does, it would be like strips but with the top angle underneath the side( or flanges) of the deck
im really trying to avoid box at all cost and im sure i could do something with angled instead, the only alu box that is available to me is .065 walled and thats probably too thin
ill most likely use thin steel angled ones

please dont tell me to use box
id rather use angled as grind plates because i know micros dotn have hardly any surface area on the bottom so not doing it that would would prolly effect grinds

please only post if you no what your talkin about

I used 1 inch angle reinforcements for my pro, i think they're alike, never rode a micro
it's 3/4th inch for box reinforcements, i believe.

i'd go with the angles.

i think micro is still 1 inch. im not sure, ask greg or fernando. they ride micros. well, fernando does and greg used to.

no i mean that they will cover the bottom of the deck because there is much there
grind will cover side and bottom and the other way is to cover side and underneath the flanges or whatever they are called

box reinforcements have to be exactly 25mmx25mm
I have no idea what size of angle reinforcements you need, but I think it should only be the wallthicness longer, otherwise you'll have to shave some off of the full length. So I guess you'll need like 27mmx25mmx2mm thick. Something like that.

Is this your plan?

If yes, it won't really work...
The space between the two vertical deck walls is wide as a wheel (actually, 2-3 mm wider...but thaw won't matter...) so the L part of the reinforcements will hit the wheel...
You'll either use box or stripes...or cut the L part where it hits the wheel...

^ yes thats my plan and i will cut it for the wheel, do you know deminsions? because one inch measures outside som im guessing if i had steel reinforcements about .065 thickness i would need 1 1/6?

no, the space in between those vertical deck walls is exactly 45mm. So it will fit easily. you just need the right height so it will also reinforce.

i would go with box reinforcements and not cut the back because the sprite shape is much thinner than a pro
