MiniDV Question

Okay so when I connect my gs300 to capture the videos on the tape to my computer, the only option it gives me is to capture them with windows movie maker but for some reason my windows movie maker has never worked. Do I need to download a software or somethin

Download movie maker from somewhere. Everything is on the internet Ben. You can probably find it and have it downloaded in about 20 minutes.

yes it will? I check the thread everyday, and thats what me and Joe are trying to fix, we're trying to actually set up a decent filming section of the forum.
