The fact you dumb fucks even believe in it is hilarious, just proves how much of a sheep you are. The Bible contradicts itself many times, and I dont understand why you would travel to some poor village in Taiwan to force your religion onto them. Thats like me going to the skatepark and trying to convince everyone to ride scooters. The theory of evolution is the only thing that makes sense anyway, religion was created because people didnt understand how they came to be so they created what seemed like the most logical explanation.

religion was possibly created to get poor people to follow orders. when a government tells poor people to act a certain way, they could possibly think, "no, im already poor. my life sucks anyways, so there really is no point of living or following orders". so to get the poor to follow orders you tell them after they die they will burn in hell forever, instead of continuing on to a 100% perfect society forever, if they dont work like the government wants them to. over hundreds of years, people keep telling their children to be religious, and over time it just becomes a natural part of life that everyone understands and feels is right. speak out against the government/religion, and except serious torture or death.
it really isnt that hard to create this stuff. just right a book and say some stuff happened. the only reason religion still exists is because people are raised into it. if you teach kids what scientists currently know about the universe, then wait until they're adults to teach them about religion, they probably wont care much for it.

how am i ignorant, selfish, or immoral? you dont even know me at all, or what kind of lifestyle i live. and are you saying all atheists are bad people? last time i checked, theres quite a few wealthy non-religious people that are doing far more to benefit the unfortunate than religious people that such sit around talking to themselves hoping for something good to happen. praying to your god is no better than a indian tribe doing a rain dance. if you actually looked at the bible for yourself, you'll realize its not really a book of morals. theres some pretty messed up stuff in there. but you've probably been raised into religion so much, that its just screwed too far into your brain.

Ha. The irony is killing me. Might I add that in the religion in question, Mormonism, which I was raised in, taught simply to have faith in God and to serve others at all times and in all places? The bible contains the stories of the old tribes. There was some messed up stuff in a primitive society. That is to be expected. However, it is in fact a book of morals, and a guide. A verse that comes from Psalms, that SEALs often repeat regarding deployments, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me." This verse is one of the more famous ones, so it may sound familiar. The simple statement of faith, and comfort through a power bigger than oneself, guides many people throughout their lives. I see no negativity here. I was out of line for calling you immoral, and I apologize. However, religion is by definition a good thing. It raises people with morals and an idea of a good society.

So they try to share their religion with others, that may be a small inconvenience to you. All they are trying to accomplish is to share a thing that brings them happiness. I believe that is one of the least selfish things that a human can do. Hating gays for being born gay? I think not.
