1. I had to edit your post because i didn't see really nothing with your text in light blue.
2. Scooter Mod Bible - search for "folding mech" paragraph and follow it. Locking your folding mechanism has to be the first thing you do on your brand new pro-model. Here's also a video by Brian about locking your folding mechanism: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2X7lJaZ2-o
3. Everybody has their own taste at handlegrips. Some ride foams, some ride BMX grips.

You have to lock the folding mechanism, if you don't want the bars to move back and forward while messing up the folding mechanism and its components. Locked folding mechanism also means smoother riding and a lot comfortable tricking and landing.

get new wheels. stocks dont even compare to some of the wheels sold on SR. check out the wheels being sold on the scooter resource store. all the wheels being sold are faster and smoother then stocks.

Hmm , if you want to mod somethings , do those easy ones first if you are new. For example , changing bearings , wheels , grips , locking your folding mech and all. I ride with ODI LongNecks now. They come with some bar plugs which are good but I don't use it as I have metal ones.

The bads about it is that when your hand sweats , you can't grip as well on it. Probably the same for other grips. I don't know.

Wheels , Yaks which you can buy at the SR store here.

Bearings , Bones Reds seems to be cheap and very good. I don't use it as I have ceramics but most people say its good and cheap.

Locking folding mech , look around at pictures and figure out how. Try not to double post if you can. Edit it.Good luck!
