sorry if there's been a thread on this, but who does it?

i just dominated a race today it was soooooo fucking fun. i borrowed my friends 1984 100 and raced against all new bikes, and still got 3rd overall out of 9.

i have a 03 kx 250 and a 02 xr 50 to play around on. i do alot of hardcore trail riding since thats what my dad is into. but i love going to the track with my buddies more than anything

I am way into Pitbike racing. Pitbikes are little kids motorcycles on steroids basically.
I recently got factory sponsored so I am pretty stoked about that. I race nationally and locally. It is actually a good way to make some money.
Sometimes I score bank!

I own SR.
1996 Yamaha WR 250

- FMF Gnarly Pipe
- FMF Turbine Core 2 silencer
- Boysen reeds
- Scotts stabilizer and upper clamp
- Pro Tapers
- Acerbis Rally Pro hand guards
- Acerbis dual halogen headlights
- IMS 3.5 gallon tank
- Works Connection skid plate and frame guards
- Brand new Pivot Works bearings all around (linkage, swingarm, headset, wheels, etc.)
- Freshly rebuilt desert tuned suspension
- Fresh powder coat on frame, subframe and swingarm

It is an older bike but completely rebuilt and one of the last years the WR was still 2-stroke. Basically a YZ250 top end on a WR tranny and it flies. It is a bullet proof desert beast. I never ride tracks because 5th gear pinned through a sandy whooped out wash is a lot more fun to me and I'm not talking about "trail" riding... wide open SoCal desert is where it's at.

My dad had a few motocross bikes a few years ago, used to race when he was about 16. He had a couple of Kawasaki road bikes around 2 years ago, they wouldnt let him have a license for the bike on the road so he could only ride it at race tracks lol.
