all new bikes now come with integraded headsets. mabe proto can whip out a scoot that uses an integraded. if scootering is going to stay alive, we need to keep up with the world

i've been thinking about making some integrated headtubes, but its really not worth the effort. the machining has to be pretty precise.
and there is NOTHING wrong with normal headsets, no problems that integrated headsets fix. in reality, it would just cost money and look cool without doing much, kind of like the scs.

but i'd kind of like to see one made, maybe it will work out better than i think.

Mat has never ridden the SCS.

But he's kinda correct. Rad made an integrated headtube i think. And buff has one on his new A

damn right, nor do i intend to. my arguments against it have nothing to do with me riding it.

That's not an integrated headset, he put bondo on a stock headtube with a normal headset to make it look like it was integrated. So he wasn't the first one to do integrated, and made that headtube pretty much useless as soon as anything happened to the headset.

wouldnt it make scs obsolete because there would be more fork tube
No, just cause the cups are intergrated, doesn't mean they're not the same height. And ever if the fork tube was too long, you can just cut it down. Almost every BMXer nowadays cuts their fork tube down, so it's perfectly flush with the top of the stem.

And with the Baby SCS you'll have to trim your steerer down anyway (unless Andrew makes Baby SCS specific forks).
