hello iv been having some issues with my scooter. first of all i bent my fork prertty badly chucking my scooter over a fence(i know that wasnt the smartest thing to do) but my very nice friend let me take off a fork of one of his older scooter which i think is an old A model. when i tried to put it on the t-tube didnt screw on all the way and looks like this

idk what to do but when i tighten it all the way sometimes it comes loose and it ends up moving and loking like this

its unscrewed rigth now but can i take it off or what?

o and i guess while im here... what are the best bearings for going fast?
and would blank yak in front and green machine in back be a good wheel setup?

thanks--- josh

the fork is an old A fork, which is longer than the thicker part of the bottom of your bars. therefore, the fork hits the skinny part before it goes completely on, and wont go any further. solution: cut the fork down about and inch and a half.

okay sorry,
because i had low bars (like 14) and i wasn't able to use a long fork because it would hit my t-tube inside of the steer tube

Don't take off the clamp. Once you've got the fork in, screw it tight again, or turn it sideways and screw it in that way.

do either one of these
-put some more headset screws/nuts in
- take off your bars and cut about an inch from the top DO NOT CUT the white box you have shown in the pic

do what greg said, pull off your bar and cut a inch or inch and a half down on top, and put your bars on and they should be good
