Lol, that's why you don't start out on a full-sized bike, you find someone with a little CRF-80 or something and learn the basics of riding with a clutch.

Well, there is a track within walking distance of my house. I think it's someones back yard though so I'd have to know them. And I'm not gonna knock on their door and be like "lemme know you so I can get my get on in your backyard."

Maybe I'll get into it someday. Cause it does look sick.

Nah, quads are sketchy. If you've ever ridden a 450 quad, you'd know why I say that.

my ass there sketchy. my neighbor has a YFZ 450 and its a dream to ride. my 400ex has had ALOT done to it so it will out run it at top end, but his has a bigger motor so it turns more torque, having better acceleration. quads are may stable and easier to ride, but bikes are lighter, being better for racing. but for trail, which is what i do, quads are so much better.

I'm used to dirt bikes, which can actually lean to compensate for their high center of gravity. Riding trails on quads is fun, I'll give you that. But I went balls out on this random dude's yfz450 up in the mountains last year, and trying to turn at speed felt like I was trying to keep a damn tree from falling over. High center of gravity + 4 wheels = sketchy. lol
