i made this yesterday, it takes like 5 minutes to build, costs $15 and does what many $10,000 peaces of equipment do. it holds a video camera steady and prevents that dreaded shaky video even when you are running with it while filming. i dont feel like explaining the physics of how it works or the directions on how to build it right now (you can pm me for that info) www.makezine.com this is a project from make magazine volume one with some modifications

I got myself banned.
I don't really see the point in it. If your standing still, theres tripods for that. If your moving, you probably want a dolly and track, or a handle to keep things steady in combination with steady shot.
