My Sleeping Problem.

sorry for a bit of a random thread but yeh...
i dont no if im the only person in the world but every night i take on average 2-3 hours trying to get to sleep, i go bed normally at about 12-2, but its really starting to anoy me, i keep waking up tired all the time :(
i just wanted to no if anybody else out there is the same as me :(
and any tips on getting to sleep lol
ps. i asked my mum if i could have sleeping pills but im not allowed they are for 18+

Count some sheep, haha nah just kidding. Think of some new scooters designs and sheit. Or how you could modify your scooter more haha. Or just read a really boring book you have to read for school or smething.

lol i end up thinking of everything possible, i am always thinking of scooters though, like new things that would make them better

i eat and drink quite alot of bad stuff lol no alcohol or shit though thats just gay. wen i go bed i end up staying up for longer :(

ah i have the same i go to bed at like 4-5 cos i just cant sleep before haha, you just got to get into a sleeping pattern.

thats what i do but it makes me be able to sleep less

I have the same problem. Just think about how much life sucks, or what would happen if your parents died that night, and you will fall asleep really fast. And don't listen to music, it keeps me awake forever.

Go get tested for sleep amnia or RLS, legit sleeping disorders. One of my friends got tested for sleep amnia because he has the same problems as you and the found out he has RLS (restless leg syndrome).

Sometimes I take a 2-3 mile bike before sleep. Relaxing, strengthening, tiring. Works pretty good. Or just get a girl, and talk on the phone with her until you both fall asleep.

Also, i have this problem, i go to bed at around 10 on school nights, and can't sleep til 1.
But lately i've tried this technique people use.
Make a cd of music you'd normally listen to that goes for about 30 minutes.
Make the songs go from hard to soft, so say you listen to rock, make it go from metal, to acoustic or whatever, with different stuff in between.
The metal generally brings your attention to the music, and then it slowly relaxes you as it goes to the soft stuff.
Try it, its been working for me lately (y)

if i'm not tired and need sleep i just make sure its really dark in the room, there is a fan going for constant noise, and explosions in the sky playing from my computer. usually works in about 15 minutes.

I have the exact opposite
I need at least 7 hours of sleep otherwise I cant function properly at all
I just got into the habit of going to sleep way earlier

I have to listen to music when i sleep, or else i cant fall asleep for a really long time. i've had to do it for sooo long, i hate sleeping without music.
