My video Camera troubleshooting...Pictures added to help

so i have my Sony Handycam vision videocamera...so i push the ejectthing to open were the tape goes...all is going well i get my tape out then i go to close it...wat the hell it wont close...when i push the thing out that pops out to the right it goes fully in but then just pops right out....plz help me with wat i can do to try to make it so it will stay closed
