I'd say go for some Eagle metalcore wheels and it's golden. I agree with what Margaret said. Kids go overboard with buying every part possible but you really should just keep it simple. Wheels with good bearings, full deck grip, bolted folding and a headset do you perfectly fine when you're starting out. Bars are something you should mess with down the line when you pick up the experience. Forks, just run stock Pro Model forks with the t-bar reinforcement mod and you're golden there too.

It depends. Support the sport who gives a fuck if you're bad. The only thing I can't stand is kids who want metal cores just so they can say they have them. Like this kid who traded this fat prick his green machines for a dehubbed xt metal core :p

it's your money do what you want with it idc haha
but i just buy what i need, it was a pain to fix my bolted stock bars whenever they broke so i got one pieces, then i started to rape green machines in one day and stock wheels so i got protos. i dont break forks so im not gonna go out and get them..
but do what you want to do i personally dgaf.

Why does it matter to have new wheels? How come stocks are bad? that wut I ride
well victoria, you cant even tailwhip so thats not saying much. buut in all eriousness, i can double flat, air quarters 540 flat and all that crap, and my stocks have lasted me 7 months. i am a smooth rider, but if this kid can't even 360, then he doesnt really need eagles. but i also agree where its his money and he can spend it how he likes. :))

I used to BMX. I sold my bike and built up a bangin scooter, because it was so much more affordable.
I got some shit, people asked me why I had such a nice scooter.
Part of it was just because I'm a beast at working on scoots/bikes.
But yeah it's whatever now anyway, my riding has finally caught up with my scooter.

Summary: Nothing wrong with investing in a nice scooter, if it's really something you enjoy doing.

it's good to have a nice scooter, just buy with in reason, like if you snap stock forks up grade
Just don't go overboard

I learned to ride on a new a model,
I started riding doing straight hops over 5 stairs and stuff on a stock a model.
Doesn't really matter where you start, its where you end up.
If you're sure you'll ride for ages, the parts could be a wise investment.

Ehh it kinda annoys me seeing new kids who have good parts.
Not because there good parts, but because the kids think to ride good they need good parts.
My scoter is ratshit and i can still ride ?
Yeah for real. I break decks so fast I just keep mine just about stock because I know the end is near once it's out of the box. Just change out wheels, grip tape, and bars and remove the brake.
