Does anyone else think myspace is just one big joke?
Seriously.
Peoples about me are just one big lie.
They say that their friends are their life.. But find one person who says that, and point out something they have done in their life to solely benefit their friends.. There is almost nothing, everything people do in life benefits themself in some way, and thats why they do it...
Another thing, when people's about me says they are original, how does that make them original? They're conforming to society by saying that in their about me. If ONE person had it in their about me, they'd be original, but every second kid has it now...
Edit - PC4PC. Myspace is just building ego's. People use it to feel good about themselves because they can't feel it outside of myspace..
Edit2 - Why do people need to post Corny paragraphs about their girlfriend/boyfriend, if they already know they love each other... Do they really need to prove to people, that don't matter in a relationship that they love each other.? If you need to say your girlfriend/boyfriend is the best person in the world..tell them that! we don't need to know!

On my myspace it says:

But thats it, nothing else.
My girlfriend thinks the same, so thats all it says but with my name substituted.
But yeah, i met her through myspace/friends. So yeah.
Good for meeting people, but i hate the extent some people take it to.

i dont really think theres much wrong with myspace, the whole 'ooo fuk myspace itz so gai' trend is pretty anoying (im not saying yur part of it but yeah)

Na, i can't really say that i'm part of the trend. I just hate it when people have things that are complete lies, and are ego-maniacs that use it to make themselves feel better..
Like, hell i'm on myspace whenever i'm on a computer..but my myspace doesn't say my friends are everything, i don't attempt to say original, i don't 'PC4PC' and my girlfriend only gets a small mention.
Essentially, i use it truthfully..as such.

last weekend when i drove 10 hours to go ride with dylan kasson and derek and whatnot I got home and I had a myspace message that someone saw me in Ohio. I was like "yay cool" lol.

i've had a myspace account for like 4 years. i don't bother hating it or loving it, it's just something i do. it's what i use to stay in touch with everyone i know. it's a useful social tool.

Dude..We're living in a world where people are put into classifications for what they wear or what music they listen to...
Everything & Anything you do is looked at and scrutinized by others, then talked about behind your back.
This isn't shiit compared to whats happening outside of myspace and the internet

It's natural for people in this age, to worry about what people do in their life.

i have to say thats mostly how i meet people, sadly.
its more of an "artistic"* outlet for me anywho.

I don't like myspace, facebook is good though... it seems like there are more people on it even though myspace is bigger. I think it has less adults and more students since that's what I was originally created for. Myspace is good for people trying to get their name out and facebook is good for chatting with real life friends (often some that you don't get to see a whole lot).
