Looking to get into video and was gunn buy this

Good luck with the hard drive camera. The encoded video files suck to work with.

I suggest getting something mini DV.

You could go with the HDD cam but sometime the files are encoded with codecs that don't work with every editing program. So you need to convert them

I dunno i didn't look into the camera. They probably are, i don't know if they would work with WMM or not because i never touch these types of cameras.
