need help reinforcing

need help reinforcing a jd bug deck:
what size flat bar steel?
where should i drill the wholes?
and will it make a HUGE difference in riding or will i get used to it?

20 inches long
holes at the front of deck, where the brake is located, and the back axle
Although i could be wrong.

and it shouldn't affect it too much, you'll get used to it after a while.

yeah and get them to sit right against the deck. You might have to file down the little part than pops out.

Go to home depot with your deck. It worked for me.

for the jdbug you can use a 20mmx2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9mm flatbar reinforcements. Drill the holes halway the foldy, or at the front. Not behind the foldy, cause that will weaken the deck too much. Here's the evidence:
