Need help with Truckdrivers. (360 Barspin)

Ok well I've just recently started to try Truckdrivers, so I know I shouldn't be a preo at them yet but I feel that their is something I'm doing wrong. I've got a few questions that if answered could help me out ALOT! For one when should throw the bars? I've tryed right before I hit the floor and it's too difficult. If you have anyother tips that could help me out on my journey too mastering truckdrivers! Please feel welcome to post those tips. I'll keep you guys updated on my progress if you want. Once I got those babies down I'll make a video and and dedicate it to the people that helped me do so. Thanks again.

Hai der!

Ok so with most 360 combos, you need to focus more on the trick you are doing in the 360, not the actual spin itself. So basically you want to be spinning naturally.

It helps to have Barspins really dialled. So you can catch them about a foot of the floor each time.

Then I would suggest throwing the bar early and catching it as soon as possible. Because then you have more time to concentrate on the spin.

The hardest thing for me was keeping my feet on. But that just comes with practice.

Let me know if you need any more tips.

my tips would be
try do them first by passing the bar to outer hand insted of strait barspin
and dont put your arse out too much its makes you spin to slow
chest over bars

Ok. this trick came really easy doing it off things. My first was off a three stair. I would suggest like a 2.
Jump hard, not like a 2 wheel same time things, like front then back, then at 180 degrees throw the bars, that way when you catch them its kind of pulls you around. Hard to explain.
Also, which hand do you throw with? and which way do you spin? are you regular or goofy? all important.

Hi there, first of all - Learn this trick on flat ground. So, the way I learned them was by carving like about 90° and kinda doing a 180° barspin and landing 270°. Then try to work your way up to not carving as much and getting the spin more clean. Try to throw the bars as early as you can. Atleast I did because I had the problem that I didnt throw the bars fast enough, so I had to learn to throw early. So I kinda barspinned through the whole spin. Lean over the bars, and do these pass-barspins when you start. I actually reccomend you jump both wheels at the same time, but just do what you feel more comfortable. Also, try just to throw your body pretty hard into the 360 and then you pretty much dont have to focus on the spin, you can just focus on throwing the bars. Just keep your head turned.
Hope this helps a little bit, good luck.

no, and also no kieran, flyout is the worst way to learn things. It gives bad habits. Learn em off things. Down ledges or down small stairs.

Hmmm fair enough. That was how I used to learn stuff though. And getting it dialled until I can get it in airs and over ramps. Just easier for me. I might try your method though if it works better :)

I just don't do it too often so I don't get into the habit of it haha

Haha I just find learning tricks on flat more comfortable. If you learn it on flat, it will basicly be easier to do it everywhere else

Thanks guys, I'm using a little bit of everyones tips, and I also have another question. I've been practicing them for about a week now and I think my main problem is getting those barspins. I have the 360s completly dialed. I tryed throwing the bars at 180 but it was a little uncomfortable, so now I'm trying to thrown them right before I'm about to land down. My first time trying this I awkwardly landed one footed. Do you guys think that maybe just doing a half bar at first would be easier? Thanks again guys!

Uhm, try doing maybe 360 X-ups first if that's more comfortable for you? Kinda gives you the feeling when you might like to throw the bars.

When i Truck, I have a Video on youtube if you wanna see it.
But when i do it i throw the bars as soon as i leave the ramp, then i pull up so my spin goes by quicker, it takes a while to learn bro so dont stress yourself out just yet.
Heres the video, if theres any other questions just ask.

I learned them on flat so basacally most people throw them way too early and you drop it at first I threw them at 270 because it's easier to get the spin around but if you throw it before its harder because its hard to bar and spin at the same time

The way I do it is throw the barspin late, so when you have done about a 270, start throwing the barspin quickly, and catch it.
Be able to catch barspins pretty solid before trying this though.
