Is a good scooter for an 11 year old kid? That's pretty cheap compared to some of the others I looked at. He currently has one of the ones that fold up... and this looks obviously better than what he has. I just didn't want him to be disappointed, and basically waste my money.

thats what i started with, then slowly built it up. that deck will last him a loooong time. and he is new, so he may not know if he is truly commited to the sport, or going through a faze. the ultra pro is the cheapest, strongest option for him
