Ramp slow mo, not 'real slow mo'. And why would you need a high speed camera, all your doing is slowing down frames. Most cameras shoot at 60i, thats 60 interlaced frames per second. The standard speed is 29.97 frames per second, so theres 30 frames left over to use for slowmo. Its not as smooth as a high speed camera, but its good enough. Panasonic HVX's can shoot in 60p, the slow mo is so fucking smooth, i don't think it records audio in the 60p mode though.

Well, i have, Sony Vegas 6.0, Adobe premiere pro 2.0. [Neither of these pirated just my uncle works in IT and gets this sort of stuff for nothing :)]
I like Vegas better as it is easier though before i used windows movie maker with lots and lots of downloaded transitions/titles and effect that are free and actually not all that bad.

Old? Plugins? Who cares. I used Photoshop 6.0 and Premiere 6.0 until about a half a year ago (i only dumped Premiere 6 because it doesn't have 24p support). And 2.0 isn't really old, 3 just came out a few months ago and won't run on most peoples systems, atleast not smooth (i can't even install it on my laptop it requires 1gb of memory). Version doesn't matter, its your knowledge and skill of the program.

Haha thankyou brian :)

Yeah seriously, half the people i talk to are using photoshop 7.0 and find it works just as well as the new photoshop give or take a few filters that im sure we can live without?

It came out January 17, 2006, thats not really that old, considering the first model of my camera came out in 2002, and Premiere Pro 1.5 was basically made for it. But anyway, the version doesn't matter, you can still do the same shit with it.

Sony Vegas 7.0 <- takes some time to learn the features worth it

Windows Movie Maker <- it is in your computer already unless you have mac, and it's easy to learn

Adobe Premiere 2.0 <- Takes some time to learn but i suggest Vegas
