is the HIC shim just a piece of Standard steel tubing with a slit? or is it aluminum?

It looks like steel in your Photo- anyhoo, if it is just a piece of standard tubing I can make him a shim

not aluminum. im sure you can get by with just regular tubing. i think its some sort of mixed steel. i dont really know.

yea its just a peice of standard bars, if you have any extra pair of bars w/ a slit that are reg size then you can cut it off ant use that
