how much does the deck weigh?
About 2.3-2.4 lbs.

i think the headtues going to need a gusset/reinforcment
Haven't had any issues yet form our testers at this point but we'll keep an eye on it. Thanks.

Trust me and Dustin on this one, this ride is a lot more solid than it looks. From what I've seen/ridden.

Nextsport, I know this is a weird/stupid thought but could you have headtube angle options? Somehow?

Could I buy an older prototype with the more mellow angle?
Possible but like bar widths it's hard to come out with something universal that the majority of riders would like. And since we'll most likely only be releasing one set up to begin with we have to go for something that is accessible for everyone and more "standard."

We received your email and we'll get back to you shortly. Just checking on inventory here but I think we can work something out.

i would buy one of these if they were cheap, and they should definetly have hic bars and threadless forks. its worth it even if it was a little more money
Pricing is still TBD but we can almost guarantee that these should be the most affordable and quality completes at it's price range. And threadless forks and 110mm wheels are already confirmed.

Also- more Nate and Kody riding. :)

Seems as we're having issues with our supplier and we're still working it out hence the testing. Everything else is coming together so we're making progress but trying new things for the wheels so it may take another round.

In general, do riders prefer a harder, slicker wheel for durability or something sticker for grip?

well the problem was wit the core. it de-hubbed after two tricks i prefer a lil softer of urethane so it gives a lil bit without chunking. idk im not an expert thats just wat i think

85A is a great hardness, it was the hardness of AM wings and those kicked ass.

OH, Fuzion, any way you could get your wheels urethaned by am wing? you would have the best wheels around, guaranteed.

And awesome, Thank you Nextsport!

AM wings?

if this is affordable like 100 bucks or a lil more i might get it. Fuzion how long is the deck?

Pricing should definitely be in that range...or less.

20.5"

http://www.nettracing.com/pict/wheels/am5-b2.jpg The people who make these
me and ralph knew a guy who was a pro speed skater, he even loved them.

he wrote this. Francisco Ramirez.
When he says "250K" That's kilometers, js.

They're also sold under this name, "Tarmac T2"

Amazing urethane, haha.

arrgh. i know you're going for afford ability.. but this would probably be the best wheel on the market, so far nothing i've ridden matches the speed of am wings

Just got my new prototype today. AMAZING. Headtube angle is super solid, bars are a bit higher I think. Brake is super dialed. It's amazing. I'll be making a review and video pretty soon.

Guys who are worried about weight, don't be haha. I'm running the Elite deck with an inward fork and lucky bars, and it weighs maybe 8.4 pounds. the deck feels a lot better than an ultra pro, especially now with the fixed headtube angle. We're also going to see a few more changes in the Elite pretty soon that everyone should be pretty stoked on, so keep checking back in this thread!
