:) Thanks Rob. We should put you on our team or something. ;)

Back on the team* haha, and feel free to

also, even bikers so far like the fuzion deck lol, the one thing that still confuses me is how light it is compared to any other deck i've ridden. It weighs more than a RUP but is stronger and the 4.25 is a good middle between 4 and 4.5 which are most common.

having ridden everything from 3.8 to 6.0 i have to say 4.25 is desirable

Has anyone broken the test deck yet?

If this scooter is successful, would you consider releasing more models? like different wheels/clamp/bars?

Is HIC at all a possibility?

We've identified some stress points but everything is addressed for the most part in the production units.

Did you mean it weighs more or less than the RUP?

The weight difference or feeling of has to do with the distribution of weight between the front and rear of the scooter. Because our deck is longer it probably feels more balanced between the front and rear.

Rob HIC will be a possibility in the future methinks :)

and i took good care of a deck trying to front scooterflip to manual off my kicker for like 5 days straight, but it was a V1 and that trick is death to ANY headtube haha

Everything will be based on this first release but we are looking at future development with our riders. As has been established this was based off the Grit because they use our primary manufacturer and we felt that in order to get this out quickly we could improve on the design, clearly as you can see we've changed the HTA, the neck reinforcements, the brake, the wheel cores and wheel composition and went to threadless stock.

Being optimistic, if the Elite does well we would continue to have it available in the market while developing a subsequent model from scratch. Anything is possible in future products as we will have more control on the development and a better idea of what is supported by you guys as our primary consumers.

So far based on the development of the Elite it sounds as if a next generation product would need (that the Elite does not have):

HIC/SCS
Y-style bars
110/125mm wheels?
Different neck design/shape
Wider deck/shape

In the near future however, we don't think it would be out of the question to have a few different colors based on future team riders/managers.

HIC
Y-style bars are good
110 wheels are perfect
I personally don't mind the neck
Narrower/shorter deck :) 4 x 19 needs to happen!

and went to threadless stock.
Grit is really messed up in the sense that if you took a random selection of Grit Elites out of their boxes, some of them would have threaded forks, and some would have threadless forks. It makes no sense what so ever haha.

I may have missed it but what's the new HTA? I really hope its mellow. NOBODY makes 80* and lower anymore, other than my rup, which I'm sick of haha. And Rob, if you have the newer one, I'll gladly take your other one off of you (doesn't it have a 79* headtube?)

In my experience, you can get used to ANY headtube angle within a week tops if you just ride it a bunch. I went straight from a rup to a phoenix, then to an ambush, then to the fuzion V1 (79) and it's only awkward for the first few days.
