Are the prices on the new Proto wheels for a pair or only for one wheel? Also I ride park so should I go with the Grippers?

Also, what color do you reccomend for my Scoot?

pretty sure each wheel category describes it right at the top, you know, the big block of text you might consider reading before buying..

Alright my bad, youre right. What color should I get? I was thinking Pink with purple full cores or white with blue spokes but I have no idea!

Do what you want. Don't just buy something if everyone else likes it and you don't get what you want. It's your money

The price for wheels depends on who is selling them. SR only sells our wheels as pairs but other shops sell singles. You will usually get a better deal if you get a pair though. Color is your choice and the SR store has pretty comprehensive descriptions of the wheels.

GENRALLY:
Grippers = Park
Sliders = Street

BUT what you choose to ride is your preference.

Thanks. I went with the Grippers that have Blue Spokes and White Urethane. These will fit on my Pro Model with stock forks right? Also theres a black plug in my steerer tube that always wiggles its way out and starts rubbing my front wheel, is it ok to remove that?

Also, the rubber/plastic (cant remember) cap thing on the front of my deck, is that ok to remove? Because I want to learn magic carpet grinds (or whatever you call that grind where you grind on the front of the deck where this plastic piece is).

And whats the rule on wearing metal cores in? Is it ride one on the front for a few hours then move it to the back and put the other one on the front? Why do you have to do this?

This is my first set of metal cores as you can probably tell. Ive ridden my green machines to shit and when I went to the park for the first time yesterday I realised the green machines were probably part the reason I only could get 1 foot over coping along with my crappy rusty stock bearings. I replaced those on the spot though with Mini Logos (the clerk suggested these over Bones Ceramics even though mini logos are $13 and Bones Ceramics are $100). I was immediately rolling alot smoother and getting a good 2 ft maybe. Hopefully I'll air even higher with these new wheels though.

BTW not knowing how to air or pump is not why I wasnt getting much air, I swithed over from BMX and could air decently on that.

Yes the grippers will fit on a pro model with stock forks. and yes it is completely fine if you take the black plug thing out from under your fork. You don't need to ware in metalcores, there is no secret to ware in metalcores or anything like that... it's Bull Shit. Just pop em on, AND GO SHRED (And it is also ok if you take out the plastic cap out from the front of your deck to learn "Magic Carpet Grinds")

the plastic things are to keep dirt out, u don't need them at all

im not sure what the rule is for the new wheels, but the point of it is to ride it in the front so there is less stress while the urethane finishes bonding with the core (or somethin like that)

Alright thanks guys. I'll just slap em on and ride. If they do dehub then I have a lifetime warranty on the wheels, dont I?
