You could machine chromo, it's the same as alu if your using a cnc. The machine shop I work at machines nylon alu titanium and other shit on the same machines. I think solid chromo block would be a lot more expensive and heavier which means more expensive s/h

it will work with the metal one butt not the plastic one becouse the plastic one has a built in top cap
