Ok since adam rouse came in and ransacked my thread with a bunch of delusional babbling from a worthless book thats never going to happen and refused to leave because he's an immature waste of life, thus ruining a perfectly good thread, im making a new one.

"At first occupy wallstreet was a complete joke.. but its starting to get heated. No adam rouse ----- im not saying this will happen, this will probably end in the government taking control, but right now theres protests going on or planned in 50 cities across the country, if done right this could end in revolution, or at least huge changes. If it does, im all for it.

It's because there are lazy people in this world who do not realize that those on top worked for it in most cases. Most of the so called "99%" would take the chance, if given, to become the "1%" and you'd be damned to try and say they wouldn't want to keep it that way.

Interesting. I don't see why the lower class people complain that the rich get to keep all their money while the lower classes pay their taxes. It's the other way around. Rich pay the most taxes, the lower classes pay less.

no ones complaining about the individuals getting taxed, its the huge corporations that they're complaining about, they're the ones getting the huge tax breaks. the one percent thing is about how wide the gap between what the rich and the poor make, whether or not they're PERSONALLY paying out their ass in taxes, they still own 40% of the wealth, funny how that works huh? stop trying to twist words around.

i wouldnt, id be perfectly ok with making 250,000 a year. do you know how much the top 1% makes? billions. they can't POSSIBLY use that money yet are allowed to hoard it and get richer at the expense of the rest of the world. i wouldnt want so much money that it's impossible for me to even spend it.

no, thats not what im saying. im saying wealth should be distributed more fairly to begin with, they shouldnt have to donate anything because they shouldnt have billions in the first place.

and that picture is stupid, no shit they use stuff from corporations, they have NO CHOICE. you act like they can pick up a camera made by a small town high-end camera maker, or weave their own shirts, they are protesting against people hoarding money, not products. stop making ignorant comments or just stop posting.

so theres 18.4 million houses, owned by rich banks and the government, that are vacant, and 1.5 million homeless people... thats just over 12 vacant houses for every single homeless person in america.. oh but that's ok too right? of course it is.

So you want a socialist country where no one can be richer than the other no matter how hard you work? Come on man. A monopoly is unfair to poor people, but it's fair to the people that worked for their corporations.

And I think when you talk about banks and stuff, you really want to go to the root of it. The IRS. The IRS is the corporations that taxes you on your wages, which is unconstitutional. They are only allowed, according to the constitution, to tax on capital gain.

I may be wrong...I think. I'm too lazy to read anything about it.

and the irs is bad too... that doesnt change the fact that banks are also a problem.

i know theres a way to satisfy everyone, we just need to really really sit down and think of a system that would actually work. there needs to be a way where you can gain assets through the amount of work you do and the importance of that work but at the same time being controlled in a way thats reasonable. i can't see any jobs being worth billions of dollars. maybe a few million, but billions? absolutely not.

we just havent thought hard enough as a society.

maybe we can do everything on a small scale, but then people will be greedy and go and take over all the other communes, so that wont work, but i think our best bet is making 1000's of little communes all over the world because people work together on a small scale, kind of, but then we have the problem of someone wanting more, and then going to take over all the other communes, people are never satisfied
it is our greatest and worst atribute
