Everyone thinks NX forks are awesome, because they are. But are they really worth the time, money, and effort? Well getting a Fusion NX cost like $150 I think, and a really good inward fork costs around $80. When you get the NX fork, if you don't have the right tools you won't be able to grind it down enough. I myself tried grinding an NX fork, and I have a whole work shop full of equipment, and it still took around 2 hours to grind. And that was using a mill (a spinning cutting blade). So even if you have a bench grinder, it could take like 4 hours, and if you don't, you are going to have to get Chuck Norris to do it for you by hand. And finally when I got it grinded down just enough for it to fit a 100mm wheel I put it on my scooter. And that's when I found out, the fork is not all one piece, the fork is made of aluminum, and the tube is made from steel, and they are pressure fitted together. And after I started riding the two separate pieces detached from each other, because it was ground too much, so it destroyed the integrity of the pressure fit. Apparently there are people who have ground an NX fork successfully, so if you want to try to be one of them, go right ahead, but just know the facts.
