Offset vs. no offset

I've ridden zero offset for ages, and I'm off to 8mm in a couple of days. I'll let you know how I get on

why 8mm offset?

offset is not better for everything at all. worse for footjams, nose manuals hang fives and even a slight difference in bars spins but that is barley noticeable. 0 offset can look good its opinion and most 'park rats' have offset not 0 offset.

most people ride offset forks than zero offset not only "park rats" because you have more stability when riding, and if you do foot jams you can put them backwards which would make it easier than zero offset.

pretty much the only reason for offset on a scooter is to reduce the chances of falling over the front, it makes a small difference in overall riding but opens up more tricks as some are only possible when the forks are backwards and i should know offset is definitely better for footjams once backward of course. i do however feel wobbly with zero offset when going fast and worse on vert ramps so i dont really see any benefit.
