poop, i like some things about him but i like some things about mccain too. and im not being racist or anything but i know someone is gonna try to assassinate obama. mccain is 72 and had cancer 4 times, so he is gonna die soon. so we might as well vote on vice president lol

Obama won for these reasons:

1) He is black.
2) He spent almost a billion dollars on his campaign which was 8 times more than McCain.
3) The liberals that funded his campaign consisted of a lot of celebrities and media figure heads who were able to promote his campaign to the masses 24/7.

I do not believe he would have won if there had been limitations on his campaign budget.

i disagree with the fact that his race was a large factor. i will agree that 95% of the black population voting for him was absurd. clearly black people were voting solely based on race, and that only speaks negatively on black people. that's fucking dumb. but at the same time, you have to admit there were a great deal of white people that wouldn't vote for him solely because he's black. i don't think there will ever be a way to tell how many people voted solely based on race, but i don't think it was a deciding factor.

and i see no problem with him spending a billion dollars. he got that money from citizens, no lobbyists or huge corporations. citizens. people donated their hard earned money because they believed in him and wanted to see him in office. why would you limit campaign contributions from private citizens?

i also think it's a positive thing that so many celebrities endorsed him. its rare that you see celebrities actually take up a legitimate cause and try and do something positive. for once they used their spot in the limelight to try and contribute to society, and i think they should be applauded for that.

bush didnt do "bad". he was stuck in one of the worst situations possible. what would you do if terrorists threatened your peoples lives? go over there and just look around? hell no, you need to go out and but some force on the opposing country and get the situation to a controlled state. when obama tries to pull out troops, the threat is just gonna rise up again. and he wont know what to do. then hel send troops back and everyone will get all pissy again
