Because I like the looks of them and I just got an SZ fork that I was thinking about making threadless.
But my question is, do you need to use the compression system with it?
Or can you just use the clamp part as well, a clamp.

it works only on threadless forks, so by using it your using compression lol

u could use it on threaded forks but proto says it will stuff the inside of your scs wasting your money for no reason so thats why proto have a half knuckle for you

just buy 2 of the half knuckles & your a scs looking winnnnnnnnnnnnnnerrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

No you can not. They are made for threadless forks only. You will fuck everything up if you use them on threaded forks. You will NOT be able to get the clamp off.
