Old A Brake

Ok so a kid i know gave me an old a and he used to ride the brake down a big hill next to his house, so there is a huge hole in the brake. Its rusty and dirty in the brake, so i can not get the brake out. I have tried hammering the bolt out, but all it did was put marks and dents all over it. So how do i get it out?

Cut the bolt holding it on.

yeah the brake pins in the old a's are a bitchhhh to get out. but you gotta deal with it

but if you cut it than the pieces will still be in the holes so you cant but a bolt through

drill the bolt out
thats what i did

like just drill right on the bolt?

yea hes right and im pretty sure a drill will get it out hahaha

Drill until you can pop it out the other side.
then drill through the holes for the brake, and the brake holes with a 1/4" drillbit...
then just get a 1/4" bolt.
