I own SR.
He is asking about the B Model and the Pro Model, neither of which are even close to an A Model. The deck is 2 inches shorter and half an inch lower to the ground. It is a completely different ride that he probably doesn't want to ride if he wasn't asking about it. And his question was not Pro VS. B it was "is it worth it to reinforce old b's?"

The answer is YES. I have been riding the same B for almost 2 years now and have yet to switch over to Pro Models even though I have one. The Pro model might be a little stronger but if you have a B Model or can find them cheap they are worth buying and reinforcing.

first off the kid above me is that your park, in your yard cause thats sick, second go with a pro old As are good but i feel pros are better for some reason more study feeling

I think it's the right place to ask it: the pro model is supposed to have the front part of the deck reinforced. Does that 'reinforcement' consist of attaching the plate that's under the folding mech the same way it's done on new As (so its not a plate but a c shaped profile that is also screwed to the sides of the deck), or is it reinforced in any other way?

no the pros arent reinforced other than how you just said. but iguess it would be a good idea to put a new a plate in a b model and flip it upside donw like it is in the pro. so just get what ever is cheaper to do
