One Peice Bar Problem ... please help.

Okay so i got my one peice bars today and i went to put them on but i sloted them onto the forks and i tightened the clamp as much as i could but the bars still came straight off... why is this?
am i just making a stupid mistake??

what bars? you probably need a shim. stock clamps are larger than 1-1/4'' so youll need to cut a piece of a soda can or something to put between the clamp and bars.

get a district collar clamp shim

Ive got WEE bars with a shim, and a district double clamp

yhh i used stock clamp itss a bitt wobbly but it'l do
imm gunna gett nother clamp

you need some sort of compression if you use thread less forks

Are you riding threaded fork...if so then ur just not using the shim right....but if u got threadless, u need compression....

are there slits on your bars?

yea if you dont have slits that could be why and you should get a rup clamp or like halfknucks
