One piece bars and stock forks.

I don't know if anyone else has encountered the same problem.
Recently i had a set of one piece bars made and i was very happy :) They turned out to be absolutley shithouse and i took them off after..a month.
When i did this i thought i'd change my headset from dust-cover to no dust-cover.
The Nuts were coming off smoothly until it hit a kink..
All the thread was compressed onto the fork and it was hard as hell to get off.

Is there anyway to combat this problem without buying threadless SR forks?

Sorry if this was already a thread i searched and couldn't find anything.

Thanks.

I got myself banned.
You need to reinforce your fork before you start using your bars. If you don't the fork ovalizes and if you want the headset off you need to saw some of the threads off to where the fork didn't turn oval.

I think he means the threads got squashed down, not the tube? Like taking a vice to bolt threads and smushing them? Either you have to just muscle the nut off or like Brian said, cut off part of the tube.
