It happens. Good shot, but not good front view to see the shirt itself. Here's a feeble legsweep, check the hat.

cant tell what the hat is man, the resolution is noooo good. you really need to think about this stuff is your really considering anything like this for product/promo shots. We shot some skater stuff back in 2010 and we made sure the shirt design was visible as well as providing proper lighting so we could draw the attention of the viewer to the shirt.

I know this is video, but its practically the same method I'm describing in a lot of the shots: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=DSvPQ37T1PI

These were not from a photoshoot, just a few shots at the park that turned out cool. I'll keep shots coming into this thread all year and yes I fully understand how to promo designs Brock, but don't scrutinize each one that gets put in here as "promo" quality, as I'm sure there'll be everything from iphone shots on a picnic bench to actual product photoshoots.

Here's not scrutinizing, he is just trying to help make the shots better. I have to agree with him, I don't see anything different from one of these clothing items than any other piece of clothing. These shots would work for a parts company but not for clothing. Try to get closer to focus more on the shirt. Obviously image quality and resolution is an issue here. If you have a photographer at your park ask him if he will help you out.

Brock is right. If you're going for a photo to spread the product/band/whatever, it needs to be a bit more highlighted
